After months of deep reflection, strategic work, and honest conversations about who we are and who we want to be, we’re excited to share a complete rebrand of Upper Crust Food Service.

But this isn’t just a new logo or a fresh color pallet. This is us getting clear about what we’ve always been and finally having the words and the look to match it.

What Changed (And What Didn’t)

What stayed the same: Our commitment to showing up for you. Our refusal to make excuses. Our belief that food service should be done with care, integrity, and genuine hospitality.

What changed: Our visual identity. Our messaging. How we talk about what we do. We worked with Hoot Design Company through an intensive process to get to the heart of who Upper Crust really is and to build a brand that finally reflects it.

Why Now?

For years, we’ve known we were different from other food service companies. Our clients told us. Our employees felt it. But when prospects looked at our marketing materials or visited our website, they couldn’t see what made us special.

We had outgrown our old brand. We’d expanded from primarily Greek life into camps, K-12 schools, and colleges. We’d built operational systems that let us respond faster and more effectively than anyone else in our industry. We’d assembled a team of people who genuinely care about the work they do and the communities they serve.

Our brand needed to catch up to who we’d become.

What Makes Us Different

Through the Brand Being process, we identified three core elements that, when combined, create something unique in the food service industry:

Heart: Our values and culture—Hospitality, Ethics, Adaptability, Responsibility, and Transparency. These aren’t just words on a wall. They’re how we work, every day, in every interaction.

Operations: Our systems, processes, density, and infrastructure that enable quick solutions. We’ve built the operational backbone that lets us say “yes” when others have to say “maybe.”

Connections: Our partnerships with clients, development of employees, and the community we build through food. We’re not vendors. We’re partners who genuinely invest in your success.
